Dear Sabina,

Thank you very much for your wonderful and magical performance, Die Unbändigen, last week in TQW.
I had such a great time in Vienna.
From now on i will associate Vienna with the sweet smell of glühwein!
& next to your performance, i saw a lot of great exhibitions: Staging Leigh Bowery; Dan Flavin; Ed Ruscha; Maximilian I and
Dürer in Albertina.  It was all very inspiring.

I really enjoyed the performance.  I liked the spirit & attitude throughout the show.
The four of you, yourself, Satu, Jack and Jeroen behaved like a Band On The Run, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalyps, like nomads spreading out in all directions.

I think this was the most unlikely quartet i ever saw on stage, each with a very different background and with a different reason to be there.

I liked the fresh and sharp variation on the theme: ‚Let’s Kill The Choreographer And Let’s Do It Ourselves‘.
And yet is was amazing to see how the performance constantly went from order to chaos and back. There was a non-stop sense of desintegration/formation which went back and forth and back and forth.  The use of the space therefor was amazing: as if your composition was one big spatial mandala.

Another theme seemed to be the musicality: there was a strong sense of music in the movements (even in silence) and in all the objects that were being used like the pingpong balls. Of course, there were the clothes and make-up; constant acts of transformation, make believe and renewal…

You shouted SPACE IS THE PLACE in the beginning and at the end of Die Unbändigen: choreographic science fiction; a trip in space and time.

vielen Dank für eure wunderbare und magische Performance, Die Unbändigen, letzte Woche im TQW.
Mein Aufenthalt in Wien war großartig.
Von jetzt an werde ich Wien mit dem süßen Duft von Glühwein assoziieren!
& außer eurer Performance sah ich eine Menge tolle Ausstellungen: Staging Leigh Bowery; Dan Flavin; Ed Ruscha; Maximilian I und
Dürer in der Albertina. Alles sehr inspirierend.

Die Performance habe ich wirklich genossen. Ich mochte den Geist und die Haltung durch die ganze Show hindurch.

Ihr vier – du selbst, Satu, Jack und Jeroen – tratet auf wie eine Band On The Run, die Vier Apokalyptischen Reiter, wie Nomaden, die nach allen Richtungen ausschwärmen.

Ich glaube, es war das unwahrscheinlichste Quartett, das ich je auf der Bühne sah, jeder mit einem gänzlich anderen Hintergrund und mit anderen Gründen, dort zu sein.

Ich mochte die frische und scharfe Variation über das Thema: ‚Let’s Kill The Choreographer And Let’s Do It Ourselves’.

Und doch war es erstaunlich, zu sehen, wie die Performance ständig von der Ordnung ins Chaos und zurück pendelte. Es gab ein unablässiges Gefühl der Desintegration/Formation, das hin und her und hin und her ging. Erstaunlich war auch der Einsatz des Raums dafür: als wäre eure Komposition ein großes räumliches Mandala.

Ein weiteres Thema schien die Musikalität zu sein: die Bewegungen vermittelten ein starkes Empfinden von Musik (auch in der Stille), wie auch all die verwendeten Objekte, etwa die Pingpongbälle.

Natürlich gab es da noch die Kleider und das Makeup; ständige Akte der Transformation, Vortäuschen und Erneuerung …

Zu Beginn und am Schluss von Die Unbändigen rieft ihr SPACE IS THE PLACE: choreografische Science Fiction; eine Reise durch Raum und Zeit.
